Numerology is a very old science with a long history. It has been found in ancient Greek, Roman, and Chinese civilizations. Different cultures and beliefs have created different kinds of numerology. One type is called Lo Shu Grid numerology, which comes from China. It is used in some parts of Asia.
What is Lo Shu Grid?
The Lo-Shu Grid is like a square puzzle with 3 rows going across and 3 rows going up and down. Inside this square are numbers from 1 to 9. Each number is important and represents something different. If all the numbers in a line add up to 15, it’s considered lucky according to Chinese beliefs.
Let’s look at the three lines going across and the three lines going up and down in detail:
Mental Plane or Mind Plane
The first line has the numbers 4, 9, and 2. This line is about intelligence and thinking abilities. If all these numbers are present, it means the person is good at thinking logically. If any of these numbers are missing, it might mean the person struggles with memory or speaks impulsively.
Spiritual/Soul or Emotional Plane
The second line has the numbers 3, 5, and 7. This line shows emotions and intuition. Too many of certain numbers can mean too much emotion or even lead to arguments. However, having more of the number 7 is seen as lucky. If there’s an imbalance between this line and the mental line, it shows the person thinks more with their heart than their head.
Material or Practical Plane
The last line has the numbers 8, 1, and 6. These numbers are connected to success and wealth. They can also indicate a materialistic lifestyle. If this line is strong but the emotional line is weak, it might mean the person is wealthy but lacks emotional depth. If the mental line numbers are missing, they might not use their wealth wisely.
There are also three vertical rows:
Thought Plane This row has the numbers 4, 3, and 8. It’s about ideas and creativity. If this row is inactive, it suggests the person isn’t good at making plans or following through on them.
Will Plane
The middle row has the numbers 9, 5, and 1. It represents determination and persistence. If this row is weak, it means the person lacks the willpower to achieve their goals.
Action Plane
The last row has the numbers 2, 7, and 6. It shows how well a person turns their thoughts into actions. If this row is inactive, it means the person might start things but not finish them.
Diagonal lines in the Lo Shu Grid also have meanings:
Golden Yog
Numbers 4, 5, and 6 in a diagonal mean good fortune, fame, and money. It’s rare and only a few people have this combination.
Silver Yog
Numbers 2, 5, and 8 in a diagonal suggest having properties and wealth, but also facing challenges and ups and downs.
